Most Valuable Shortcut for Writing Direct Response Sales Copy - Ever!
I’ll be honest… I stumbled across this nifty time-saving trick recently - I think it was on a video Jim Edwards put out.
But I keep forgetting the keys to press. So I’m sharing it with you on my blog so I don’t forget it again!
As an online direct response copywriter, I’m constantly changing the case of headlines, important conversion phrases, SEO Copywriting keywords, etc.
Then I discovered Shift-F3.
Most Microsoft Windows applications let you highlight a chunk of text, then press Shift-F3 to toggle between:
- UPPER CASE;
- lower case, and;
- Proper Case.
It’s a handy time-saving trick to know if you’re a copywriter, and one which you should write down somewhere too!

I LOVE IT !! My ghostwriter was doing it one day on his Mac and he said he wrote the macro for it himself (he obviously didn’t know the shortcut either) and being the PC user I am, his macro wouldn’t work for me…. thanks for sharing mate.
